‘Where there is a will, there is a way.’
Well, the sudden onslaught of the Covidvirus did keep our students from coming to school but it could not dampen our spirits in the slightest, for we gave ourselves a new reason to celebrate.
In an endeavour to give the students of Bangalore a platform to showcase their creative geniuses, two sister institutions, New Horizon Gurukul and New Horizon Public School came together to host the first ever online interschool literary and cultural fest- ‘Kalasmriti’.
The fest comprised of a great range of events spread across the genres of Music – ‘Sound Beats’, Arts – ‘Magical Artistica’, Dance- ‘Stage Warriors’,Drama –‘Haunslon ki Udaan’ , Yoga- ‘Spiritual Bliss’ and Literature- ‘Litrosphere.’
The month of October saw the successful execution of the much awaited extravaganza as we were deluged with numerous entries across the different categories. With an overwhelming response from young talented participants of more than 20 schools in Bangalore, the event proved to be a huge success.
All the months of hard work resulted in the successful culmination of the event on 16th October 2020 with the online declaration of the results through a live event.
