The National Road Safety Week is celebrated every year, from January 11 to January 17. Its objective is to spread awareness on road safety. On January 25, 2024, New Horizon Public School conducted a Workshop on Road Safety Rules for the students of Grades 6 and 7.
The guests of the day were Mr C.V. Muralidhara, Chief Traffic Warden, Bengaluru City Police, and Mr Lokesh BS, Senior Consultant, TESCO, Prof. Chiranthana Nanjappa, Academician, Social Innovator, and Mr Satish Rao, Volunteer, Bengaluru Traffic Police. The interactive session was engaging and informative. Students learnt about the importance of following safety measures, the meaning of different road signages, and the ways to become good samaritans. We hope that the young students will incorporate safety measures in their day-to-day lives and grow up to become responsible citizens.
