Cognizance- The Career Fair 2023 was organised for the Grade 10 students of New Horizon Public School on the 4th of November, 2023 at New Horizon College of Engineering. Cognizance was a wonderful platform to learn about institutions, programs they offer and the career opportunities open to the students.
Parents and the Students had a chance to interact with experts who graced as guest speakers for the day, from various streams of professions such as Ms Sanchari Chaudhry from IIHM, Bangalore, RJ Tuhin from Red FM 93.5 and Surg Lt Cdr Karthikeyan, Officer-in-Charge Dynamic Flight Simulator, Indian Air Force who had enlightened them with their real time professional experiences.
Later, students and the parents were guided to the subject oriented stalls plotted in the premises where they had a chance to interact with real time professionals from various streams of career. It was the best way to stay updated with the latest education trends and opportunities. This also introduced students to alternative career paths they might not have thought about previously. It was an invaluable opportunity to get all of their questions answered at one place.
