The much-anticipated event of the year DEEPOTSAV was celebrated on the 1st and 2nd of November 2023. On these days, the school premises was beautifully transformed into a festive arena, adorned with hanging lights and colourful canopies setting a perfect backdrop for the celebration. The air was filled with excitement as students, parents and staff arrived, dressed in vibrant ethnic wear adding to the cultural richness of the event. As part of the traditional Indian greeting, turmeric/Chandan dipped mudra was gently applied on the forehead of the students and parents.
The festivities kicked off with captivating dance performances by the students. The food stalls and game stalls were some of the highlights of Deepotsav. Students enthusiastically participated in all the games and were very happy to get the soft toys as gifts. Students and parents devoured the delicious dishes which included momos, gobi manchurian, pav bhaji, cotton candy, and haakah noodles.
A lively performance from the rock band enhanced the festive spirit. The event reached its climax with a mesmerizing fireworks display, lighting up the night sky and leaving everyone in awe. The best-dressed boy, girl, and parents in ethnic wear were showered with gifts by NHPS, making it an integral part of the Deepavali experience.
