On February 13, 2023 a group of pre-primary students of New Horizon Public School went on a field trip to the ISKCON temple. The friendly staff warmly welcomed the children and provided a child-friendly overview of the temple and its various rituals and practices.
The little ones were taken on a tour of the temple and shown various shrines and altars, where they were introduced to the different deities worshipped by the devotees. The colorful and intricate designs of the temple captivated the young students, who eagerly asked questions and participated in the activities.
At the end of the tour, the children were given prasad and souvenirs to take home. Overall, the trip was a wonderful opportunity for the young students to broaden their horizons.
