Franklin Roosevelt rightly said ‘We cannot always build a future for our youth, but we can build our youth for the future.’
The fifth edition of NHMUN 2023 was successfully held on the 27th and 28th of July, 2023. The conference was inaugurated by Ambassador N Parthasarthi. A total of 158 delegates from different educational institutions participated in the event.
In this era of globalization, learning about the world and its problems is of utmost importance. The New Horizon MUN provided the perfect platform for all like-minded young enthusiasts who wanted to make a difference. They came together to take on global challenges, provide solutions that would help make this world a better place to live in and gain hands-on experience in diplomacy and international relations.
During the two days, intense debates, fruitful discussions, and impactful resolutions were witnessed. New bonds were forged.
The event ended with awards given to the delegates who proved their prowess. The Best Delegation Award went to St. Joseph’s Pre-University College.
The conference ended on a high note, with the students leaving with memories that they will treasure forever.
If our youth arise and act they have the strength and dynamism to generate a huge transformation in society.
