New Horizon Public School has set the benchmark for conducting activities in such a way that the students not only enjoy but also learn a great deal from it. With the same perspective in view, ‘Fun Friday’ was organised on 28th August 2020. An online platform, for the first time ever, to encourage students to participate in cultural activities and showcase their hidden talents for two minutes each, which included activities like dancing, singing, recitation, playing instruments etc.
‘Fun Friday’ turned out to be Super Fun Friday. The overwhelming response by parents and children, the enthusiasm shown, the talents showcased, creativity used to write poems, penning down songs, variety of instruments played by different children, left the teachers speechless, who took delight in viewing their children performing online.The children and teachers loved to see each other doing something different than studying and ruffling through textbooks. The squeals, laughter and cheering claps of all was like a breath of fresh air in the midst of the lockdown and gladdened hearts of all. Indeed,the ongoing pandemic did not deter the spirits of anyone.
Fun Friday ended with a demand by children – Dil Mange More! And teachers promised a zestful note that more is coming their way!
