Festivals promote feelings of social cohesion and communal harmony. Echoing this sentiment, the Pre-Primary section of the school celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi on 15th September, 2019 with a theme of Chandrayaan 3. The festivities began with the traditional ‘aarti’, accompanied by melodious ‘bhajans’, by our teachers & young singers. In the spirit of the occasion, all the Children made ecofriendly little Ganesh idols in their classrooms. A bigger idol was made as a collaborative effort, which was immersed later. The teachers presented an informative PPT to the children dressed in traditional attire, highlighting the significance and important aspects of the festival, imbibing spiritual, traditional and cultural values.
