On Monday, the 5th of
June 2023, the pre-primary students observed the World Environment Day. To
bring about awareness amongst the students, a special assembly was conducted.
The teachers explained the importance of saving trees and how the animals and
birds would be affected without trees. Students enthusiastically made their
take-aways, a constant reminder about the importance of ‘Saying NO to plastics’
and ‘Going green’. Children
recited some slogans regarding saving the environment and walked in the
corridors of Preprimary division and the front gate. They were given take aways
which added to the importance of this occasion. The celebrations concluded
with a pledge by the students to ‘Save trees’ and ‘Save nature’
