“What mental health needs is more sunlight, more condor, and more unashamed conversation.” ― Glenn Close
There is no health without mental health. The moto behind celebrating World Mental Health Day is to spread awareness and educate people about their mental well-being. The theme this year is making mental health and wellbeing a global priority and spread awareness to break the stigma surrounding it. It becomes a necessity to take care of our Mental health by knowing and being mindful about our emotions, thoughts and behaviours.
When it is becoming difficult to have control over your feeling, thinking and actions or when we are facing difficulty with academics, personal, social, professional life. Just like doctors we have counsellors, psychologists and psychiatrist to help us deal with all.
Right intervention at the right time can help avoiding major disorders. Let’s take an oath to accept people with kindness and compassion so that no one has to suffer in silence so that nobody is ashamed to speak about their problems and ask for help when in need. So don’t get lost in the race against life be mindful and take conscious care of Ourselves.
Its time we value our Mind and Body.
