In this day and age of increasing competition, peer pressure and many strong influences including the print media, internet and television, our children are subjected to a lot of information, views and opinions that are at times variegated in nature.
They tend to influence the child’s psyche and character to a considerable degree. We see this influence in our homes and classrooms regularly, in the demeanor of our children and how they interact in society.
There was a need to reinforce the value system of our children on a sustained basis. So we decided to build a value-system that ensures children transform into responsible, mature, well-informed and well-rounded citizens of tomorrow.
Values Plus classes are conducted by ISKCON (International Society For Krishna Consciousness) in our school. Experienced professionals conduct these classes which have been well received by the children and parents alike. We have witnessed a tremendous change in the value system of our students which has led to a positive outlook.
NIVE conducted a competition on account of World Values Day on October 15th, 2020. Our students participated in this competition and the results are as follows.
ISKCON, Bangalore conducted Heritage Fest Online, an International competition based on traditional Indian arts, culture, and wisdom, on the eve of Sri Krishna Janmashtami 2020.
The NIVE Values Plus program effectively integrates the learning of values and life skills into the curriculum through stories/ activities/ videos etc. Since "World Grandparents Day"
NIVE Values Plus conducted a competition - “Samskruti”. This competition was conducted in order to cultivate values such as patience, perseverance and many more such strong values in our students.

Respected Madam,
I am writing this e-mail with immense happiness and gratitude. To see Niharica improve slowly and steadily has given me a lot of confidence that she will do well in her academics even in her higher classes. She now reads very well and independently. She also remembers things better. Her writing has improved as well.
I would like to thank you mam for your patience, understanding and encouragement. I would also thank the school management for having such a set up where the kids can be given special attention to improve in the areas that they are weak in.
Mam, I am sure that with your guidance Niharica will have a wholesome growth. Thank you once again.
Yours sincerely,
Malathy
