Celebrating Independence Day: Nurturing Young Citizens Through Creativity and Patriotism

On August 13, 2024, the pre-primary school embarked on vibrant preparations for Independence Day, fostering a celebratory atmosphere that engaged the young learners. The theme, “Freedom of Craft,” encouraged creativity as students participated in various art and craft activities, using materials in the colors of the national flag—saffron, white, and green.
Classrooms were adorned with handmade decorations, creating a visually stimulating environment that reflected the spirit of patriotism. Teachers guided the children through the process of crafting items such as paper flags, garlands, and artwork that celebrated the significance of Independence Day.
This engaging experience not only allowed the little students to express their creativity but also introduced them to the values of independence and national pride. By actively participating in these festivities, they took meaningful steps toward becoming informed, proud, and responsible citizens, laying the foundation for their understanding of the country’s history and cultural heritage.
