Mentor’s Day Celebration – A Tribute to Visionary Leadership
8th July 2025 marked a truly special occasion at New Horizon Public School — Mentor’s Day, celebrated with heartfelt enthusiasm and grandeur. Coinciding with the birthday of our beloved Chairman Sir, the event was a radiant expression of the immense love, admiration, and respect the entire school community holds for a leader whose vision has inspired generations.
The festivities began with a vibrant welcome for Chairman Sir and his family. The atmosphere was electric as students showcased a cultural medley of folk dances from Punjab, Maharashtra, and Gujarat, setting a joyous tone with their rhythmic footwork and colourful attire.
The ceremonial lamp lighting marked the auspicious beginning of the day’s events, followed by the presentation of saplings to our Green Ambassadors, reaffirming our collective commitment to environmental stewardship. A graceful invocation dance further infused the atmosphere with serenity and reverence.
The spiritual essence deepened as students chanted the Ganapati Taalam shloka, leading into a high-spirited performance by our Primary School children to the tune of “Nache Dhin Dhin”. Their energy and charm brought smiles and applause from the entire audience.
Music filled the air as Amogh from Class XA captivated the audience with a soulful vocal performance, beautifully accompanied by Madhvi on the Mridangam. Their harmony laid the foundation for the show-stopping finale — a breathtaking dance drama set to “Aigiri Nandini”. The powerful performance stirred deep emotion, leaving the audience with goosebumps and a sense of spiritual devotion.
The celebrations concluded on an emotional note with a tribute video, chronicling Chairman Sir’s inspirational journey and achievements, along with heartfelt messages from alumni, teachers, and staff. The event culminated in a ceremonial cake-cutting, closing a celebration as impactful and memorable as the leader it honoured.
The celebration was a powerful reflection of the enduring impact of a visionary whose legacy continues to shape the path of New Horizon Public School.
