Pre-Primary Division
The Pre-Primary Division of New Horizon Public School includes Nursery, LKG, and UKG. The curriculum is play-based and child-centred, recognizing multiple intelligences and fostering creative thinking. Each day is thoughtfully structured to balance free play—both indoors and outdoors—with guided learning activities, ensuring an engaging and stimulating environment for young learners.
To make learning interactive and enjoyable, every Pre-Primary classroom is equipped with a smart board, enhancing engagement and understanding through visual and interactive content.
The curriculum emphasizes learning through observation and hands-on experiences, helping children develop sensory perceptions that stimulate both creative and intellectual faculties. Language and literacy development are nurtured through activities such as rhymes, chants, and storytelling, providing ample opportunities for students to interact with teachers. Rhymes, in particular, offer a socially engaging and developmentally appropriate way for children to hear, identify, and experiment with language sounds, making learning both fun and meaningful.
