“Yoga is the journey of the self, to the self, through the self.”
NHPS organised a special Yoga Session for its students conducted by Ms Saritha, our Physical Education Teacher. A group of students from Grades V to IX, with the teacher, demonstrated the Surya Namaskar, Samundra Namaskara, Jal Namaskara, Adni Namaskara and the Chandra Namaskara. These asanas help in the physical as well as mental well-being of individuals. Students from Grades 6 to 10 participated in the yoga asanas during the morning assembly and were encouraged to incorporate yoga in their daily regime.
