As part of the SUPWA programme, Grade 10 students participated in a meaningful Youth Seva initiative at Karnataka Public School, Banaswadi. Through value-based skits, storytelling, interactive academic sessions, games, and origami activities, they engaged and inspired young learners while promoting cultural values and joyful learning.
New Horizon Public School commenced the academic year on a proud and promising note with the Investiture Ceremony, formally inducting the newly elected Student Council into positions of responsibility and leadership.
World Environment Day was celebrated on 5th June with great enthusiasm to promote awareness about environmental conservation. Pre-primary learners participated in engaging activities such as sapling planting, seed bombing, creating a “Recycle-saurus” from recyclable materials, and carrying zero-waste meals.
Horizonite families began the new academic year with a spiritually enriching visit to the ISKCON Temple during the auspicious month of Adhika Maasa. The experience included Darshan Aarti, prasadam, a visit to the goshala, and an inspiring discourse by Sri Hari Bhakta Dasa on leading a meaningful life.
The school campus came alive with joy and excitement on 25th May as students returned after the summer break, filling the corridors and classrooms with laughter and renewed energy.
A POCSO Awareness Training session was conducted for the teaching staff by the in-house counsellor and HOD, Ms. Srilekha, to strengthen child safety practices within the school environment.
