The air was filled with an aura of excitement and happiness as the Preprimary section of NHPS gathered to celebrate ‘Deepotsav’ the festival of Deepavali. The school premises shimmered with colorful decorations, echoing the spirit of the festival of lights. Little feet along with their parents scurried with eagerness, as tiny hands prepared to embark on a journey that intertwined learning and rejoicing. The program commenced with traditional Indian greetings; lighting of the lamp followed by a fantastic performance by our preprimary teachers. Wide-eyed and curious, the children were introduced to the significance of Deepavali, decorating homes, and the legend of Lord Rama’s return.
The story captivated their attention, laying the foundation for the day’s celebrations. A special cultural showcase was organized, featuring the talents of our pre primary teachers to the beats of traditional dance and music. The day culminated with a delightful dinner where everybody relished the delicacies. One of the most awaited moments was the firework display event which was a visually captivating experience organized thoughtfully and safely.
The celebration was not just a day of merriment, but a memorable learning experience. As they bid adieu to the day, their smiles reflected the radiance of the festival, a testament to the joy they experienced and the knowledge they gained.
