Building Thinking and Inquiry-Oriented Classrooms

A two-day professional development workshop on “Building Thinking and Inquiry-Oriented Classrooms in the Middle Stage” was conducted by CISCE in collaboration with CENTA, led by Ms. Lavanya, CENTA Expert, on 24 and 25 July 2026.

The workshop focused on moving beyond rote learning and fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and active student engagement. Teachers explored the 5E Model and Bloom’s Taxonomy, along with practical strategies for framing open-ended questions and creating higher-order learning experiences through collaborative activities and micro-teaching.

The enriching sessions equipped educators with meaningful, classroom-ready approaches aligned with NEP and CISCE expectations, empowering them to create more engaging and purposeful learning environments.
