Luminous Creations – Diya Decorating Competition
To celebrate the spirit of Deepavali and introduce the cultural significance of diyas, ‘Luminous Creations’ – a Diya Decorating Competition was held on 14 October 2025 for students from Nursery to UKG. The event aimed to nurture creativity, cultural awareness, and a sense of joy among the young learners.
The little ones enthusiastically decorated their diyas using vibrant paints, glitter, sequins, beads, mirrors, and other decorative materials, transforming simple earthen lamps into dazzling masterpieces. Their imagination and enthusiasm lit up the atmosphere, filling the space with colour and festive cheer.
The activity not only encouraged artistic expression and fine motor skills but also helped children connect with the traditional values and festive spirit of Deepavali in a joyful, hands-on, and meaningful way. It was a delightful celebration of creativity, culture, and togetherness.
